Kent excels as a cinematographer, specializing in capturing compelling imagery under challenging conditions in extraordinary locations with industry-leading talent.
He brings a unique skill set to every production—whether on location or a Hollywood set—by being adaptive, open-minded, thoroughly prepared and unflappable in focus. He has shot work for Ford, Subaru, Toyota, American Express, Jackson Hewitt, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cabela’s, Eddie Bauer, Victory motorcycles, CF Moto, Arctic Cat, Colorado Lottery and many others. In addition, his work on major Hollywood feature films includes working on 11 Marvel films including Avengers: Endgame and Infinity War where Kent served as the B Camera Operator / Splinter Unit DP. Other recent notable projects include Superman, The Lost Bus, Yellowstone and several other notable Hollywood projects.
Kent is a member of the distinguished Society of Camera Operators (SOC) and is an Emmy-award-winning cinematographer. His talent and broad skills have him well-respected and constantly sought after.
Kent's extraordinary work filming to the summit of six of the famed "Seven Summits" (including Mount Everest twice in 2009 and 2012) and filming in remote locations across the US, Central/South America, Africa, Asia & Antarctica—have cultivated his unique global perspective. Combined with his active lifestyle as a climber, mountaineer, skier, kayaker, and mountain biker, these experiences shape the distinctive viewpoint he brings to every project.
When not working, you can likely find Kent spending time with his family enjoying time in the mountains of Colorado.
